Boneheads 2018

Post by Hirdy » Sun Jun 11, 2017 1:19 pm

G'day guys and girls,

I've received confirmation that the accommodation dates I was after are available, so it's all systems go. Boneheads in 2018 will be:
  • Check in on 28th April, 2018
  • Check out on 6th May, 2018
So the Boneheads fishing will start on Sunday, 29th April and the last day of fishing will be Saturday, 5th May. Tides will be very similar to those we had this year, and being the same time of year, I hope we have similar weather.

We're booked in to the Exmouth Escape Resort and we have 32 spaces available. Those spaces are offered to past Boneheaders first and any places left will be offered to The Virgins. (It sounds a little unfair, but in practice we usually have lots of places for Virgins.)

I will begin accepting nominations to attend now, with first deposits due by 13th July. Previous Boneheaders can pay their deposits immediately* and Virgins will be placed on a waiting list. Any places available on 14th July may be filled by Virgins (in the order they nominated) when they pay their deposit. From 16th July onwards, it'll be on a "first-in best-dressed" basis - pay the deposit and you're coming to Boneheads in 2018. :D

Feel free to nominate yourself to attend by posting below.

Cheers,
Graeme

Good point Brock.

The price is the same as it's been for a while, at $800 for accomodation. You need to pay for everything else.

Jake, the answer to that is no. Boneheads is set at a maximum of 32 people because we don't want to crowd the place out. The good news for you though is that we often have people drop out along the way. There's every chance that if you put your name on the waiting list, you'll be offered a position sometime in December or later. And of course, we may not fill up the 32 positions in any case.

Cheers,
