Hi all
Time for another meeting.
At the last meeting, Steve was going to tie a fat boy. We ran out of time, so Steve will demonstrate this month. It's not a politically correct name for a fly, so for those that are offended by this term, we shall refer to this fly as the horizontally challenged young man.
Glenn has put together a video of a trip he did to Exmouth with Ben Knight of Ningaloo Sportfishing. Titled 4 Days and one Knight.
We are well into pink snapper season. Graeme will be doing a talk on targeting this species.
The club has done a group purchase of some rod socks. These are great for keeping rods safe whilst travelling. There are two sizes. The small will fit rods up to 8 weights. The large will fit 8 weight and up, as well as double handed rods. Cost of these are $10.00 each. Please bring along cash if you would like some of these.
Couple of away field days coming up. Kalgan River/Albany is due in November. Blackwood/Augusta is due in December. A deposit is required to secure accommodation for these weekends. If we get enough deposits early enough, there is an option to book more spots. These spots fill fast, and these are two of the best field day weekends that we hold. Members are also welcome to make their own arrangements regarding accommodation.

Tony was sure on the money the first Kalgan chalets we booked have filled in less than 24hrs see post in members section about getting your name down for a spot in possibly future booking for Kalgan

Just wanted to thank everyone for an enjoyable and informative evening last night and hope for many more.
