I know they may not be saltwater but was wondering if anyone knows if its possible/worthwhile having a cast in any of the lakes around Perth?
Bibra Lake, Yangebup Lake, Lake Coogee, Lake Monger, etc.
Cheers,
Gordon

Go for a walk around your local parks that have lakes, plenty of very big carp around in most urban lakes. I've even seen silver perch, golden perch, Aussie bass and Murray cod around the place if you're lucky

Yes many lakes have many interesting fish in them.
South of the river most hold carp Koi ect it’s taken a lot of time to get them to play the game.
Most of the lakes you named above fall under the city of Cockburn and I’m yet to find fish in them as yet
The city of canning is a good start point
