Big Brook, Pemberton

Post by Tigh28 » Wed Oct 05, 2016 9:55 am

Heading down to Pemberton for a wedding in a couple of weeks and heading down a couple of days earlier to have a bit of a look around with the fly rod. We are staying at Big Brook cottages. Just wondering if anyone has been down there and what to expect fishing wise.

Thanks, Tigh

Should be a few trout and redfin hanging around in big brook dam, access for fly can be a bit of an issue in some areas so bring your waders and make the most of places where you can get in the water.

I seem to have more luck with trout up at the back end of the dam where it is fed from rather than on the dam end.

Hope you prick a few mouths mate :)

Cheers for the reply mate. Hopefully we get a bit of half decent weather and can go for a bit of an explore. Will just be good to g a few casts in and see what is around.
