Spencer and I attempted to drive up to Exmouth on the thursday before boneheads. However we bought some contaminated fuel from the service station.
We got to Geraldton and fuelled up with diesel at the BP on the brand highway just before the overpass on the railway line and John Wilcox link.
After getting some food we headed north. Spencer noticed that the patrol was lacking power going through the hills. Just after Northampton the fuel warning light came on indicating that there was water in the fuel. After a call to Nissan assist recomending us to go to the nearest nissan dealer, we headed back to Geraldton.
We dropped the patrol off and waited around in a pub until about 3.30pm. (The skimpies unfortunately started later.)
The mechanics had drained the tank and found the fuel had been contaminated. We were very luck it didn't stuff up the engine.
