Sam
You should have been there that morning around 7.30.
No boats and I caught about 30 plus a nice tailor in just over an hour.
Tried using poppers after that but could not get a take although there was lots of surface action.
Got bored and went home for breakfast.

So no one has seen any salmon out from Perth?

Has anyone been out to Rotto this last weekend?

I'm looking at going perhaps Thursday if anyone else is thinking of taking their own boat. Paper had stories of big schools passing Dawsville last week. Surely they must be here by now - or shortly!!

Simon water temp was 21.9 out of mindarie yesterday. Which is around 1.5 up from 2 weeks ago. Apparently that's not a good sign?

Not on Fly but did go to White Hills on Saturday night for a bit of beach fishing. 2-68cm Mulloway and 4 nice Tailor to 48cm was a good nights work. Did not see any Salmon caught while we where there. Been a while since I have been beach fishing so was great to get out and swag it on the beach. This Saturday looks a good day for a Salmon fish out of the boat.

Apparently a few salmon being caught off the Rocko reefs so my guess is that they should be hanging round Rottnest by now.

Should be heading down dunno on Monday for a look. Hopefully some schools in the bay.
