HCE Havoc 10 Weight

Post by Tony Ong » Thu May 22, 2014 8:47 am

Tony from HCE kindly lent us a brand new 10 weight Havoc to trial for our trip to Florida.
Light in hand and good swing weight. It's a fast action rod.
If anyone would like to have a cast of this rod, I'll have it with me for a little while, till Tony asks for it back. I really shouldn't cast it any more, as I might be tempted to purchase it. It doesn't look too bad as well.
I don't have many of the Florida pics organized yet, but here's a couple from Salmon last weekend. Check out the working curves. :)

See if Tony will let you keep it until the casting day in June. Tell him it'll be perfect advertising …

… plus you may get a few more salmon in the meantime! ;)

Birchy. I haven't been game to ask. Very tempted to get one. I've got it for a little while Graeme. Anyone wanting to have a cast, let me know.

I was luck I got busted off.. however I did manage to land a legal sized spainard on the 7wt.. but she was in all sorts of new shapes!
